Thank you Humbrews for a fabulous time! We will see you again before you know it…

While we were forced to cancel the Southwest tour we had been planning due to Covid concerns, we are excited to announce that we will be holding a short Northwest tour this summer. Stay tuned for the announcement within the next couple weeks…

We are stoked to be branching out from our stomping ground this month and making a trip to the legendary Humbrews in Arcata. We will be there on Friday, May 20th and hope to see all you forest folk there!

We are also very excited for the latest addition to our list of “home turf venues” – the New Parish in Oakland. SFO featuring NMB will be playing the New Parish on Friday, June 24th and we are honored to have Lady Bianca making an appearance with us.

For those of you who may not be familiar with this local icon, she is a Grammy Award nominated artist who has worked with the likes of Van Morrison, Willie Dixon, John Lee Hooker and, yes…Frank Zappa!

As the only female vocalist to have held a spot as a touring member of a Zappa ensemble (1976), her soulful vocals breathe a new and unique life into such classics as Dirty Love and Advance Romance. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to catch this local legend performing with SFO.

Thank you everyone for your continued support. Hope to see you at a show soon!

For those who were not able to catch our show at the Art Boutiki on 9/11, you can check out a couple videos here

and read the review written by Ted Silverman for Jambase here.

What a release it was for us to finally have the opportunity to play this amazing music for a room full of Zappaphiles. It was like getting to an itch we haven’t been able to scratch for 2 years….

We are in the process of booking a handful of Bay Area shows before the end of the year and a short Southwest tour is on the horizon after the first of the year. Stay tuned for more information – or, better yet, follow us on Facebook or Instagram to keep in the loop as information becomes available.

Just in cased you hadn’t heard the glorious news, The Stinkfoot Orchestra’s debut performance before a live audience is scheduled to take place at the Art Boutiki on September 11, 2021.

Art Boutiki is excited to host a special night celebrating the music of Frank Zappa with the world premier of the Stinkfoot Orchestra. This 15-piece ensemble including 6 horns, 3 dedicated vocalists and a rhythm section featuring tuned percussion will be fronted by a very special guest – iconic Frank Zappa vocalist, Napoleon Murphy Brock.

This is an in-person ONLY show, there will be no livestream.
